You can find the world’s first mega pyramid here that has been built solely for the purpose of meditation. It is, however, important to mention here that a pyramid meditation offers some intrinsic values such as improved eyesight, BP (Blood Pressure) control, improved hearing and acne and zits removal to name a few. If you are travelling by a car there, parking isn’t a problem.

Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple

This temple is located at Hulimavu in Bannerghatta Main Road at a distance of 15 km from Bangalore. It is said that Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple is actually a miniature of the Meenakshi Amman Temple located in Madurai. However, the architecture of the temple is jaw-dropping with a tall tower popularly known as Gopura. Lord Sundareshwar is sitting right at the entrance and goddess Meenakshi is on the other side of the temple. The serenity of the temple, its architectural nuances, and easy access from the places like Bangalore and Kanakapura Road (only 8 km) makes it a unique choice for spending some quality time. Besides, there are shrines within this compound, namely Lord Ganesha, Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Subramanya, and Lord Ayyappa. Shrine for Navagrahas (nine planets) also has a huge area inside.

This heritage temple is one of the famous religious places in the state of Karnataka especially for the City of Bangalore. The temple was built in 1915 and draws a large crowd all throughout a year.
